Walkin' in a Windshield Wiper Land

The title of this blog is brought to you by Christmas Carol Lyrics by Rylee. We'd like to take a moment to wish you all a very merry, very belated Christmas and a happy New Year. We had an excellent Christmas here at home with all the babes and there were lots of festivities leading up to the holiday. Here's a sampling of the Christmasing:

First, there were tree lightings and such:
No Light Up Westport Village is complete without a hug from the Cow himself!

I tried to tell her Mommy has done ice sculptures before, but she didn't seem convinced. This one was cool, anyway!

The first Christmas jammies of the season!

 Mini Ho Ho Ho Hobens

Advent calendar time!

Rosebud the Elf came back again this year. Here we are reading about him and his elfen magic on his first night back from the North Pole.

Kicking off the Christmas movie schedule with some hot chocolate and popcorn.

We went to cut down our tree on quite possibly the worst night humanly possible and it was coated with snow and ice when we finally brought it out of the freezing cold and into the house, but it made for a really cute picture!

How many Hobens does it take to decorate a Christmas tree?

Decorating some homemade ornaments

I think it's safe to say we were excited about our new Little People nativity set from Grandma and Grandpa.

A very special sleigh ride with Mr. and Mrs. Claus

Decorating some more homemade ornaments... Rudolph the Purple Hot Pink Nosed Reindeer anyone??

A Christmas pedicure at Salon Mommy

All my sous chefs were in the kitchen for Christmas cookie decorating this year.

Putting the key out for Santa

Annual Twas the Night Before Christmas reading

Christmas morning present opening chaos

"Wait, are you sure this fire truck is for Rylee? Santa's getting kind of old... maybe he was confused..."

And, of course, our traditional Christmas Casserole breakfast made Christmas complete.
